Why We Search: Founder Tim Miller’s Story
In 1984, Tim Miller’s daughter, Laura, was abducted and murdered. That tragedy revealed a critical gap: families of missing persons were left to search alone.
In August 2000, Tim founded Texas EquuSearch to ensure no family would face that abandonment again. Every team member is a volunteer—united by one purpose: ensuring that #LostIsNotAlone. We receive no government funding and never charge families.
