Thank you to Throwback Tavern, Jane Sharp, everyone who participated in the charity cook-off, and all who came out to support Texas EquuSearch.

It was especially meaningful to have two of the original six searchers from 2000 join us and thank Tim Miller for keeping the dream alive.

Special thanks to our judges, Karen Vincent, Debbie Doyle, and Tim Miller, and to Throwback Tavern for their generous $10,000 donation. We are humbled and grateful for a community that continues to believe in our mission.

Every year, members of the Texas EquuSearch search teams travel to Texas State University to learn from Dr. Daniel J. Wescott, a respected biological anthropologist and longtime friend of Tim Miller and the Texas EquuSearch family.

This training helps searchers better distinguish between human and non-human remains in the field.

This year’s group included TXEQ team members, Detective Fidencio Gonzales of Dickinson Police Department, Mary Beth Wright of the FBI, and others committed to helping families find answers.

Training like this helps us better serve families seeking closure and justice.

Every hour matters because every hour is an opportunity to find answers.

When a loved one is missing, families measure time differently.

Every call, every lead, every search effort matters.

That’s why Texas EquuSearch volunteers continue showing up, working together, and giving their time to help bring answers home.

Lost is not alone.

Our founder, Tim Miller recently attended a private premiere of *River of Angels*, a powerful documentary from filmmaker Shawn Welling that shares the stories of survivors, first responders, families, and a community forever changed by the July 2025 floods in Kerr County.

The film is a reminder that in the face of tragedy, people come together to help one another, support families, and begin the long road toward healing.

Thank you to Shawn Welling and the entire *River of Angels* team for preserving these stories and honoring those impacted.

What an incredible night with the Texas XXXI chapter of the Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

With more than 400 attendees from across the nation gathered for their annual conference, Tim Miller had the honor of sharing the mission of Texas EquuSearch and our commitment to never leave a family alone while supporting law enforcement agencies in the search for missing loved ones.

Blue Knights President Roger “Crash” Byars then removed his hat and passed it through the crowd. Members from all over the country gave generously, and by the end of the night, the Blue Knights presented Texas EquuSearch with a $3,000 donation.

Tim received a standing ovation for 26 years of dedication to families and law enforcement. It was a powerful reminder that compassion, service, and brotherhood still run deep in this country.

“I have met many wonderful people in my years of searching for the missing. Tonight I get to look out and thank 400 of my friends. Let’s keep doing what we are doing.” — Tim Miller

Thank you to Roger “Crash” Byars and the Blue Knights for your incredible support, friendship, and belief in our mission. Thank you for being a part of the Texas EquuSearch family.

The search continues this morning for Donna Gonzales, who has been missing since 1992.

Please pray for Tim Miller and the dedicated Texas EquuSearch team as they spend another day searching with compassion, determination, and hope. After more than three decades, Donna’s family still deserves answers, peace, and closure.

At Texas EquuSearch, we believe no family should walk this road alone.
