I would like to take just a moment to thank you for your assistance in the Jodi Powers investigation. I realize that the Kentucky State Police did not specifically solicit your assistance, but that certainly doesn’t mean that it went without notice. As you are aware, missing person’s cases present many challenges due to the man hours required for properly investigating tips received and conducting searches over vast areas. Although this investigation had an unfortunate ending, it does allow the family and friends of Ms. Powers some comfort knowing that she was located.
