At approximately 4:00 PM this evening, Nathan Lowery was located in the bay. Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his friends and family.

Nathan Lowery, 17, was last seen on a water raft, with family and friends, at approximately 5:30 AM when the raft began to take on water and sank, on the Northside of the Texas City Dike in Texas City, Texas on June 27, 2026. While others were able to make it out of the water safety, and was rescued, Nathan had not resurfaced. Nathan was last seen wearing a royal blue t-shirt and short dark gray shorts.
