#LostIsNotAlone

Some searches take you to hard places.

Physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.

We step into them anyway.

For the families who cannot look away.

For the questions that deserve answers.

For the people who are still missing.

This is why we search.

This is why we stay.

Moments like these remind us that this mission is powered by people.

Volunteers, supporters, and families all coming together, sharing time, stories, and purpose.

Even outside the search field, these connections matter.

They are what keep this work human and grounded.

Community carries this mission forward.

At our 25th Anniversary Volunteer Appreciation Celebration, our friend Kevin Brady honored our volunteers with a powerful historical video—capturing years of dedication to missing people and the families who cling to hope.

He also shared a musical tribute that told the story of Tim’s love for his daughter Laura and the legacy born from unthinkable loss.

In a moment that surprised everyone, Tim presented Kevin with the Texas EquuSearch “Lost Is Not Alone” Award, recognizing his faithful support of our volunteers and their unwavering service.

Thank you, Kevin, for the heart you bring to this mission. You’re a blessing to Texas EquuSearch.

Our volunteers carry packs, radios, and all the tools needed to search.

They also carry the names and stories of the people we have looked for over the years.

Families carry the fear and the waiting.

We show up to help shoulder that.

To move quickly, to stay focused, and to hold hope with them through every step of the search.

That is the heart of our mission.

Tim stood alongside the parents of Sydney Sanchez recently, speaking with the media about the day-long search led by Texas EquuSearch.

Sydney Marquez is 24 years old and was last seen on December 11, 2025, near the 9100 block of Bellaire Blvd in Houston, Texas.

Sydney was wearing gray pants, a gray hoodie, and tennis shoes. She suffers from mental illness, which makes finding her quickly even more urgent.

Someone out there has seen her. Someone knows something. Your share could be the moment that brings Sydney home.

If you have any information, please contact:
📞 Houston Police Department: (832) 394-1840
📞 Texas EquuSearch: (281) 309-9500

No parent should ever have to spend day and night searching for their missing child—but this family refuses to stop hoping, and neither do we.

Please keep Sydney and her parents in your prayers.

And if you have any information, no matter how small, it matters.

Every year, Tim Miller and his longtime friend, Agent Tommy Hansen, place an angel on the Christmas tree inside the Galveston City Courthouse in honor of Tim’s daughter, Laura Miller. This year was no different.

For 41 years, they have remembered and honored the lives of Laura Miller, Ellen Beason, Heidi Fye, Audrey Cook, and Donna Prudhomme—placing their angels alongside so many others whose lives were taken by violent crime.

We invite you to join us in praying for these families. May their loved ones never be forgotten.

This weekend, we got to do something we don’t often do—slow down for a moment and join our hometown for the Annual Dickinson Hometown Christmas Parade.

And to our surprise… we drove away with 1st place.

Our volunteers poured their hearts into the float, our neighbors lined the streets, and for one night, the lights, laughter, and community reminded us why we do what we do.

Thanks to the Dickinson Rotary Club for organizing the event and hosting us!

To our volunteers, thank you for showing up—on the easy days and the hard ones.

We’re proud of this community. Proud to serve it.

And yes… proud of that shiny new trophy too. 🎄🏆

Our founder, Tim Miller, was invited to the FBI headquarters in Houston to share the work Texas EquuSearch has carried out over the last 25 years.

He spoke about what our teams have experienced in the field, what we have learned, and the families who are still waiting for answers.

Tim has worked beside law enforcement for many years, and these relationships continue to make a real difference in the searches we lead.

Thank you to FBI Houston for welcoming him and for the support they show to victims and their families.
