Xavion Young – Texas City, TX (1/6/19)

UPDATE: The active search for 7 year-old Xavion Young is now over. A child’s body has been found that appears to be Xavion, but positive identification must still be confirmed by medical authorities and law enforcement investigators. We want to say a very sincere “thank you” to the 150+ volunteers, and the vast number of organizations and agencies that worked so hard to find little Xavion. We ask that everyone please keep Xavion’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this most devastating time in their lives.

Ground Search Activation: Law enforcement authorities have requested the immediate help of Texas EquuSearch to find 7 year-old Xavion Young. Xavion is very much endangered because he is Autistic and non-verbal, and it is of great urgency to find him. The search for Xavion is starting right now. The sign-in area will be in the northeast parking lot of the College of the Mainland, located in the 1200 block of N. Amburn Rd., Texas City, Texas 77591. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATVs. Please dress appropriately, and bring your own snacks and water. Tim Miller is your Search Coordinator, but all calls shall be made to Koy Murphy. Original Post: 7 year-old was last seen about 12:00 p.m. in Texas City, Texas on January 6th 2019. Xavion is Autistic, and non-verbal. Xavion was last known to have been wearing gray & white plaid shorts, and black & blue Velcro shoes.
