08/22/18 — Miracles do happen. Sherrie Gillie Vause has been found alive, and has been transported to a local hospital for observation. We would like to thank everyone who assisted in this search. Please keep Ms. Vause in your thoughts and prayers.

08/22/18 — The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office has requested the assistance of Texas EquuSearch in the search for 64-year-old Sherry Gillie Vause. We will begin Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. The search staging area will be located at 23128 Highway 321, Cleveland, TX. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATV. Please be prepared for muddy conditions, and wear snake boots if possible. Please bring water and snacks. Your Search Coordinator is Jack Boggess, he can be reached at (713) 826-3861.

08/22/18 — Sherrie Gillie Vause, age 63, was last seen on August 20, 2018 in the 700 block of County Road 2936 in Cleveland, TX. Sherrie was last seen wearing a blue shirt with flowers and blue jeans. Sherrie suffers from dementia.
