FOUND DECEASED: Joyce Payne – Grapevine, Texas (5/03/19)

UPDATE: The family of Joyce Payne in Grapevine, Texas contacted Texas EquuSearch on Wednesday – May 15th 2019, and requested our help to find Joyce. She had disappeared on May 5th 2019, and said it was believed that Joyce, and her vehicle might be in the waters of Lake Grapevine. Texas EquuSearch members, and sonar experts Dennis & Tammy Watters began sonar-searching Lake Grapevine on Friday morning – May 17th 2019, and quickly located Joyce’s vehicle in the lake. Though the female human remains found inside of the vehicle are thought to be those of Joyce; positive identification must still be supportively confirmed by medical personnel and law enforcement investigators. We ask that everyone please keep Joyce’s family, her friends and her community in your thoughts and prayers during this most heartbreaking and devastating time in their lives.

ORIGINAL POST: 66 year-old Joyce Payne was last seen in Grapevine, Texas on May 3rd 2019. It’s unknown what color, style or type of clothing that Joyce was wearing. Joyce was driving her silver, 2003, 4-door Chevy Trailblazer with Texas license plates of # DV15449. It is similar to the one pictured above. Joyce has scarring on her abdomen and right shoulder from previous surgeries, and her shoulder is slightly deformed as a result. Joyce also wears upper dentures, and she has Scoliosis (curving of the spine).
