I am writing this letter to let you and your team know how much I truly appreciate you efforts during the weekend of September 14th-16th, 2012. As you are well aware, I have been the lead detective in the missing juvenile case of Paige Johnson since September of 2010. I want to personally express my gratitude to you for the numerous searches (both large scale and “under the radar”) that you have done for me. I also want to thank you for your dedication, long hours, and often thankless efforts over the past two years. Your help has been such a tremendous aid to me, my department, and mostly to Paige’s family.
I would also like for you to extend my gratitude to the men and woman that helped you during the search near Albany Ky. I called you and told you what area I was looking at and that I needed that area searched. Within less than 10 days of my initial contact, you were able to locate the area, gather Intel, make connections, gather the needed equipment, pull together a search team, and search the area above any expectation that I could have foreseen. The work done by you and your search crew is truly amazing to me, and I hope that you can convey my appreciation to your people. Please know that you and team have done a great service for this investigation and for the family of Paige Johnson.
