Liberty County, Texas issued a Resolution to Recognize and Honor Mr. Tim Miller of Texas EquuSearch.

The resolution states that Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery Team started in August 2000 with the purpose to provide Volunteer Horse Mounted Search and Recovery for Lost and Missing Persons.

It also explains that Texas EquuSearch was started in the North Galveston County area because of the high incidence of missing persons in the largely undeveloped area of South Harris and North Galveston Counties.

The document further states that Texas EquuSearch existence and purpose is dedicated to the memory of Laura Miller, the daughter of their founding director, Tim Miller.

It describes Texas EquuSearch as being composed of volunteers of various experiences, with many being experienced horse owners.

The resolution also emphasizes that this organization is compassionate, dedicated and professional, and that its members come from all walks of life, including business owners, medics, firefighters, housewives, electricians, students, former FBI and law enforcement, current law enforcement, former and current U.S. Marshal, Coast Guard, and all walks of military.

It concludes by stating that Tim Miller and Texas EquuSearch are a valuable and greatly appreciated member to recovery efforts worldwide and especially to Liberty County whenever called upon.
