Letter of Gratitude from Hitchcock, TX Chief of Police – Missing Girls Search

City of Hitchcock Texas 1200x630

Mr. Miller and Staff,

I would hope that you and your staff accept this letter as a token of our appreciation from the Hitchcock Police Department for your untiring efforts in the search that started on December 4, 2001. After numerous hours of searching on land and in air by horseback as well as motor vehicle. Many thousands of miles were covered in searching by your organization as well as law enforcement agencies within the Galveston County. The young ladies were fortunately found in Arkansas. We can be thankful that these individuals were brought back unharmed and they left on their own free will. It is imperative that an organization such as yours assists in searching for missing and lost children. You and your staff are an asset to the Galveston County and surrounding areas that you dedicate many hours and effort as well as other resources like helicopters, airplanes, horses, four wheelers, etc… In closing, I would like to reiterate the fact that I have never worked with a more dedicated organization that you have established and should the occasion ever arise again that we would need a search group I hope that we can call on your organization for assistance. Once again, thank you for your tireless efforts and sincere dedication to this project.

Sincerely,

Chief of Police,
Glenn Manis
