Letter of Commendation in Support of Texas EquuSearch

Cleveland ISD 1200x630

Dear Friend,

Tim, I am writing this letter in reference to the news I have just read about. I am so sorry to hear of the difficulties Texas EquuSearch is currently going through. I know for a fact the incredible cost associated with east search operation. It can easily run into the millions of dollars. Not that any price can be placed upon the life of a missing person, especially the life of a child, as you and I know all too well.

You and I, along with Ken Defoor and many others in your great organization have froze, sweat, bled and cried together through many tragic searches over the years. Some involved children, some involved adults. Our goal, in the end, was to provide closure for the families of those who have loved ones which were missing.

Tim, you and I have both lost a child. We both know how horrific this alone can be. The heartbreak never really subsides. But, we also know and I believe this is what truly drives men like you and I, we know how much more heartbreak would come if we had no closure, no remains to honor, no knowledge of where our child is in this world.

I can personally attest to the stellar professionalism and dedication I witnessed on each and every search. I can personally attest to the dogged determination exhibited by each and every member of Texas EquuSearch as if each search was a search for one of their own. And, in a way, I suppose the subject of every search does, in fact, become one of Texas EquuSearch’s own.

I know God is busy; however, it is my sincerest prayer He watches over and leads you and Texas EquuSearch through this difficult time. I know He understands the sincere, heartfelt dedication you and this organization has and what miracles have been performed by your efforts.

Sincerely,
Rex Evans
