With the exceptional search efforts of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Texas EquuSearch, a deceased individual was located today near the area of Martin Gack’s last known whereabouts. Official identification is still pending.
Our hearts go out to Martin’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

LOST IS NOT ALONE
Martin Gack, 45, traveled to McFaddin Beach on August 20, 2025. The vehicle that Martin was traveling in became stuck on the beach. While waiting for a tow vehicle to assist, he walked away from the vehicle and has not been seen since. He was last seen wearing black athletic shorts, and a grey t-shirt. Martin suffers from heart problems and high blood pressure. He recently had stints put into his heart, due to related issues.
