04/21/09 – The search for Hallie Jenkins, age 4 has ended. Early this afternoon, searchers located her, unfortunately, deceased. At this time, we ask that you keep the families of all the children involved in this tragic accident in your thoughts and in your prayers.
Thank you to all of the dedicated volunteer members of Texas EquuSearch who assisted in the search. This was a difficult search, and Search Coordinator Frank Black wishes to personally extend his thanks for your dedication, determination and hard work.
04/19/09 – 7:00pm – Texas EquuSearch will resume the search for Hallie Jenkins tomorrow morning, beginning at 8:00. Members who wish to assist in the effort should report to the command center as soon as possible. It is located at 14500 JFK Blvd, near Aldine Bender Rd, Houston, TX at the Pet Paradise. We need foot searchers and ATV’s. Foot searchers should wear life vests and anyone with binoculars or GPS devices should bring them. Search Coordinator Frank Black can be reached at 713-301-6813.

04/19/09 – 4:00pm – The search for 4 year old Hallie Jenkins continues this afternoon. Hallie is approximately 2 1/2 ft tall and weighs approximately 30 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and purple shorts. Texas EquuSearch search teams have deployed to the area to search the banks of the bayou via foot and ATV. We ask that you continue to keep this family in your prayers as they suffer this unimaginable loss.

04/19/09 – Texas EquuSearch is conducting recovery operations for the 2 children who remain missing from the tragic accident on April 18, 2009 in Green’s Bayou. We need member volunteers to conduct foot searches and ATV searches along the banks of the bayou. Foot searchers must wear life vests. Please bring GPS devices and binoculars if you have them.
