Verne “Roy” Erdman – Rye, Texas (12/23/20)

UPDATE: We have some sad news to report. A body believed that to be 74 year-old Verne “Roy” Erdman has been found by Texas EquuSearch members. While positive identification still needs to be made by the appropriate authorities, we ask that you keep the friends and family of Mr. Erdman in your thoughts and prayers.

Original Post: 74 year-old Verne “Roy” Erdman was last seen in Rye, Texas on December 23rd 2020. Verne’s picture was by a game camera taken just moments before he disappeared. In the picture; Verne was wearing a green-colored, plaid-type, long sleeved, button-up shirt with blue jeans and dark colored shoes. He was also wearing a cap that appears to be brown in color. Verne has a gray beard, he wears glasses, and he also wears hearing aids. Verne has bad knees, and it very difficult for him to walk. Verne wears a medical bracelet, and was wearing a watch when he was last seen.
