UPDATE: Kyle Rugg – Katy, TX (03/04/15)

UPDATE (3/4/22):  Tim Miller, Founder and Director of Texas EquuSearch, was invited and attended a press conference today held by the Texas Rangers, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to communicate that remains recently found have been positively identified as those of Kyle Rugg. The news come on the 7th anniversary of Kyle’s disappearance.  More information will be released when possible.

Previous Post (4/2015): Texas Equusearch completed the search today of the area’s of interest. We will head out again once directed by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Search Info: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has requested our assistance in the search for Kyle Rugg. The search will begin at 8:00 A.M. on Monday April 6, 2015. The command post will be located at the Lake Livingston Village, 167 Lexington, Livingston, TX 77351. MAP

We are in need of foot searchers only at this time. Please bring your own water and snacks, and be prepared for mosquitoes, fire ants, poison Ivy, snakes and marshy areas. Your search coordinator is Jack Boggess, he can be reached at 713-826-3869.

Original Post (3/4/15): 20 year old, Kyle Rugg was last seen leaving a fishing trip in Livingston, TX on March 4, 2015 on his way back to Katy, TX. When his roommate returned from the same trip, he noticed that Kyle’s vehicle was missing. Kyle has not been seen since. Kyle has tattoos on chest and upper right arm, ear piercings that stretch his earlobes and scars on his right knee due to recent knee surgery. He drives a silver Hyundai Elantra with TX plates CD4 Z207.
