FOUND DECEASED: Henry Schelsteder, 69, Houston,Texas (5/2/22)

UPDATE (5/9/22): A vehicle belonging to 69-year-old Henry Schelsteder was found Monday during a preliminary search of a large and vast search area. Unfortunately, a body believed to be that of Henry was recovered from the vehicle, pending positive identification and cause of death from the medical examiner’s office. Whether you believe in miracles, luck, or God’s perfect timing, the many moving parts in the quest to find Henry came together in one pivotal moment. We’d like to thank everyone that contributed in one way or another to find Henry.

ORIGINAL POST (5/6/22): 69-year-old Henry Schelsteder of Houston, Texas is last known to have been driving northbound on I-45 near Madisonville, Texas the evening of May 2, 2022. Henry is a contract driver and was en route to his destination in north Texas. Henry suffers from a medical condition that requires medication. Please be on the lookout for his vehicle: a gray, 2002 Ford F350 pickup with a missing tailgate and black headache rack on the rear window, bearing Texas license plate PYP-5305. Anyone with property along I-45 near Madisonville is asked to check their property lines nearest the highway.  Henry has white hair, is balding, and has a scar on the top of his head. Henry was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts, gray shoes, and a welding hat at the time of his disappearance.
