Memorial for Baby Grace, November 2007

Texas EquuSearch helped to organize a memorial for Baby Grace, in Galveston, Texas.  The body of a young girl, aged 2-5, was found in a plastic storage bin on a deserted island in Galveston Bay on the night of October 29,2007.  Investigators have named her “Baby Grace” until her real identity is known.

Tim Miller, Founder and Director of Texas EquuSearch, built a cross to be placed on the island where the toddler’s body was found.  A small bronze plaque, bearing the name “Baby Grace”, was installed on the plaque.  Today, the cross was transported by boat and installed on the island in her memory.  Someday soon, we hope to be able to place a new plaque, with her real name, permanently on the cross.
