APPRECIATION TO JACKIE’S BRICKHOUSE, OUR SUPPORTERS AND VOLUNTEERS

10/22/18 — We would like to thank everyone who had a part in making our fundraiser at Jackie’s Brickhouse a success. First, to Guy Rodgers, Co-Owner of Jackie’s, Guy Anderson and a special thank you to John Barrera for organizing the event, making sure everything went smooth. John is a machine. We also want to thank all the staff from Jackie’s who worked the event.

A special thank you to Jackie Powell, who worked with all of us who were getting auction items and sponsors. She reached out and got auction items, sponsors, bundled the items for the live and silent auction items, and for her work behind the scenes Jackie has one of be biggest hearts of anyone we know. She also put everything in her computer, which makes checkout run smoothly.

Speaking of sponsors, we are eternally grateful for our sponsors who step up every year, and the new ones we got this year. Without the generosity of our sponsors, it would be difficult for us to keep helping as many families as we do. Another special thank you to everyone who donated auction items, both live and silent, which is one of the main reasons the event was successful. Additionally, thank you to all that bid and won auction item(s). You are all responsible for helping to make making the fundraiser such a success. Thank you to The Lighthouse Charity Team for doing all of the cooking for the event.

We also want to thank our volunteers who obtained live and silent auction items. You all worked so hard, and very well together. We made a great team. Additionally, we want to thank all of our volunteers who worked at the event. Without our volunteers, there would not be a Texas EquuSearch. They are all so dedicated, and always step up when they are needed.
