Original Post: 27 year-old Shannon Godfrey was last seen as he was being swept down the Sabine River in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana on July 4th 2015. Shannon had jumped into the Sabine River to retrieve a kickball during a family outing to celebrate the 4th of July, and was unable to fight the currents. Shannon was wearing a white muscle shirt, white cargo pants and a black belt. Shannon has tattoos of stars on his shoulder, the name “Rose” tattooed on his arm and a scar on his inner left forearm. Please keep Shannon’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this most devastating time in their lives.
