03/01/12 — 37 year-old Kathy Lawson-Arrendondo was last seen in Southwest part of Houston, Texas on February 11th 2012 at about 10:30 p.m. She was last known to be wearing pink pajama bottoms, a white t-shirt, black jacket and white tennis shoes. She has a visible scar running vertically from her forehead to her nose. She has a tattoo on her right arm of a heart with her children’s names inside of it – and the tattoo of a unicorn on her left shoulder. PLEASE NOTE…… Parking is available BEHIND the fire station, ON THE GRASS AREA ONLY, and in front of the class room building which sits at the BACK of the three building complex.

VERY IMPORTANT….Parking will be allowed ONLY on this grassy area and NOT anywhere on or off the shoulder of the shell road that circles the complex. This road is used for the Fire Departments emergency vehicles and we CANNOT block their travel.

Due to the fact we search so often for Alzheimer victims, it was my thought that we should have an expert in that field to speak to our members. This will enhance, I believe, our search efforts and better assist us in directing our recourses when on such a search.

All TES members, both new and “vetrans” should be encouraged to attend this most worthwhile informative presentation. It will make ALL of us better TES searchers in our on-going efforts to serve the public.

8:30 a.m.:……TES Member/Instructor Ken DeFoor – Orientation class for all new members and/or those who have never attended Orientation.

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.:……TES Member/Instructor Ron Overman – “Safety and Search Operations”

10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.:……Break

10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.:……Guest Speaker Ms. Katie Olson, Education Coordinator, Alzheimer’s Association, Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter.

11:45 a.m. – 12 noon:……Break

12:00 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.:……TES Member/Instructor Beth McClanahan….Proper completion of TES forms.

12:15 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.:……TES test covering class room material presented.

12:30 p.m.: Leave class room and go to field search area located at the dead end of Line Drive just SOUTH of Red Bluff Rd.
(NOTE) Please remember to bring your lunch and eat on the way to search area or while there. We tend to get scattered and lose time if everyone stops at various restaurants to eat lunch.

Approx. 1:30 p.m.:……TES Member/Operations Officer Frank Black begins Command Post Operations and search assignments.

Approx. 4:30 p.m.:……Operations Officer Frank Black will debrief members. Search Operations ends and days activities terminated.

12/26/10 — Jonathan Foster, age 12, was last seen in the area of N. Shepherd & 43^rd on December 24, 2010 @ about 1:45 p.m. Jonathan has a very visible overbite. He was last known to be wearing a tan colored t-shirt with musical notes and a guitar printed on it. He was also wearing blue jeans and black & white tennis shoes with a red stripe. 06/15/10 — Bill Hoyt, age 80, was last seen on Monday, June 14, 2010, at around 4:00 p.m. in Jarrell, Texas. Bill was last seen driving his 1999 Golden Bronze Chevrolet Silverado Pickup, with a camper top. Bill was last seen wearing blue overalls with tiny white stripes. 05/24/10 — We are starting an immediate search for Taelah Smith. There will be two command centers, as follows:

05/24/10 — Taelah Smith, age 3, was last seen on Saturday, May 22, 2010, around 9:45 a.m. at her mother’s home in Dickinson, TX.  Taelah was taken by her grandfather, Wilbert Earl Burton, who was driving a 1995 blue/grey Toyota pickup, Texas license no. AC2 9870.  The truck has multiple primer spots and no tailgate or rear bumper.  Please call if you have any information.

Peggy Merimon, age 61, was last seen leaving the Lubbock State School, 3401 North University, Lubbock, Texas on August 9, 2006, at approx 12:45pm with a coworker and an unidentified man to have lunch. The body of the coworker was found on August 20, 2006. Peggy is still missing and foul play is suspected. She was last seen wearing black Capri’s with a white long sleeved buttonup shirt with a pink bow in her hair. There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to Peggy’s whereabouts and information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.

04/27/10 — Julio Garcia, age 85, was last seen driving a red 2008 Toyota Yaris about 11:50 a.m. on April 24, 2010 at the Fiesta store located at 10401 Jensen Dr. in Northeast Houston. He is missing two front teeth and walks with a limp. Julio is in desperate need of his medication. Please contact police immediately if you see Julio or his vehicle.
