05/06/10 — Texas EquuSearch was contacted on April 19, 2010, by the Ohio State Bureau of Criminal Investigations requesting assistance in the recovery of the remains of Michael Sheppard. Tim Miller has been in Ohio for the past week, along with Dennis Watters from Team Watters, our sonar expert. Additionally, two individuals from Underground Imaging Technologies, one of our resources for ground penetrating radar, have been assisting in the search. Texas EquuSearch has been working closely with the Ohio State Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the Huron County Sheriff’s Office, Perkins Township Police Department and the Central Ohio Canine Search and Rescue. A $5,000.00 reward is being offered for credible information leading to the discovery of Michael’s remains.

05/05/10 — Michael Sheppard, age 35, was last seen on May 8, 2003 in Huron County, OH. It is not known what Michael was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Please call the Ohio State Bureau of Criminal Investigations at (419) 353-4603 if you have any information.

07/16/10 — We are very sad to report that the remains of Cristina Fuentes were located today. We want to extend a special thank you to our members for their immediate response to our call out. Please keep Ms. Fuentes’ family and friends in your prayers.

07/16/10 — We are starting an immediate search for Cristina “Simeona” Fuentes today, July 16, 2010. All available ATV and foot searchers please report to the Command Center, which will be located at the CT Church, 9701 Almeda Genoa, Houston, TX 77075. 07/16/10 — Cristina “Simeona” Fuentes, age 89, was last seen on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Almeda Genoa and the Gulf Freeway in Houston, TX. Cristina was last seen wearing a black flowered shirt, yellow pants and pink slippers. Please call if you have any information.

07/02/10 — Joseph David Anderson, age 8, was last seen on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. in Reedsburg, WI. Joseph is in need of medication. He was last seen wearing a red short sleeve t-shirt, red shorts with a black stripes down the side, and was wearing no shoes. 05/22/10 — Linda Hartsough, age 56, was last seen on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at around 1:00 a.m. in the area of Irvington and 610 in Houston, Texas. Linda was last seen wearing beige shorts, a pink and white top, and brown sandals. Please call the Houston Police Department at (713) 731-5223 if you have any information.

06/12/10 — We are very sad to report that Colt Tipton has been located deceased. Please keep Colt’s family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will post funeral arrangements once they become available.

We want to give thanks to all of our searchers for their hard work and dedication. Additionally, we want to thank R.P. Flight Systems, Texas Department of Public Safety, Comal County Sheriff’s Department, Comal County Fire Department and EMS, Spring Branch Fire Department and EMS, Bexar County Mounted Posse, Hays County CERT, Cy-Fair VFD and Alamo K9 and all of the local volunteers who assisted in this search.

The search will be in typical Hill Country territory of rocks and cedar trees, where there are snakes, scorpions and other things that bite. Dress appropriately — snake gators are encouraged. The command center will be on the family farm located at 475 Heimer-Lange Road, which is just off Hwy 281 north of San Antonio. The nearest major intersection is Highway 281 and Hwy 46. We are searching for a missing 16-year old with medical issues, who has been without his medication since Wednesday, June 8th. We need foot searchers, ATV’s and horses. We want to thank the Hueytown Police and Fire Department, as well as all of our volunteers who participated in this very difficult search. Please keep Mr. Shaw’s family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.

06/01/10 — Texas EquuSearch was contacted by Mr. Shaw’s family, along with the Hueytown Police Department, requesting our assistance. We are sending a team to Hueytown tomorrow morning, June 2, 2010, to begin our search. 06/01/10 — Larry Shaw, age 58, was last seen on Friday, May 28, 2010, around 11:00 a.m. in the area of Virginia Drive, Hueytown, AL. Larry was last seen wearing navy blue dress pants, beige golf shirt with Long Lewis Ford on the left breast. Mr. Shaw has a scars on his right cheek, right arm and around his neck.
