URGENT REQUEST FOR DONATIONS

We have been very extremely busy with searches this year. We recently recovered our 130th victim, and we have brought over 300 people home alive. Requests for our assistance have increased, but our donations are at an all-time low. In today’s economy, it is very difficult for people to pay their own bills, much less donate to charity. Nevertheless, we are in need of immediate cash flow/donations in order to sustain our operations. We want to be able to continue to help families find their loved ones, but it is becoming increasingly difficult with the current state of our funding. If everyone who reads this would donate $1.00, $5.00 or any other amount you can, it will help ensure that we will not have to tell a family we cannot help them because of our finances. Tim Miller made a promise to his daughter, Laura, that he would never leave a family alone. Therefore, we ask you to donate anything you can. Please pass this on to your friends and family. 10/17/11 — In anticipation of the upcoming movie about the Texas Killing Fields, CBS’ 48 Hours wanted the real story from the people who lived it. Tim Miller was interviewed by CBS’ Erin Moriarty at length. Tim Miller’s daughter, Laura, was one of the four girls found in the location known as The Killing Fields. Heide Fye, Jane Doe and Janet Doe are the other three girls found there. All four cases are unsolved, along with the murders of @ least 30 other girls along the I-45 Corridor. Additionally, 48 Hours interviewed Captain Brian T. Goetschius and Mike Land (Retired) of the Texas City Police Department, along with some of the victims’ family members. The show will air on October 22, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. CDT/10:00 p.m. EST on CBS. Please see the slideshow below of photographs taken during the interviews.

Due to the increase of water searches that Texas EquuSearch is conducting, we felt it was necessary to have a boat which is better suited for using our sonar equipment. The boat pictured above is perfect for our needs, and we will continue to help as many families as we can.

Two Recoveries Made by Texas EquuSearch’s Sonar Experts

08/24/11 — Dennis and Tammy Watters, Texas EquuSearch’s sonar experts, with the help of our new Marine Sonic sonar equipment, found a drowning victim in the Dallas area on August 23, 2011, who was recovered by divers. On August 24, 2011, a vehicle was recovered that had been missing since 2008, and had human remains inside. This vehicle was also found by Dennis and Tammy Watters with the help of our new Marine Sonic sonar equipment.

07/12/11 — With the advice of our legal counsel, Marc Wites and Alex Kapetan of Wites & Kapetan, and the approval of our Board of Directors, Texas EquuSearch has filed a civil suit against Casey Anthony in an effort to recoup expenses in the search for Caylee Anthony. This case was filed in the 9^th Judicial District Circuit in and for Orange County, FL; styled Texas EquuSearch Mounted Search and Recovery v. Casey Anthony; Cause No. 11-CA-8475..
