IF YOU PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED FOR THE APRIL 13, 2013 CLASS, YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN — SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
04/22/13 — Texas Equusearch will be holding a New Member Orientation/Training for new members and/or current members who have not previously attended an orientation class, and we invite you to attend. This training is important and the content is mandatory for all members who are new or current members who have not already attended an Orientation/Training. We will have another class in a few months for those that cannot attend this Orientation/Training. Similar classes are planned for Florida and Ohio, and they will also be posted on the website. If you are a new member, please make every effort to attend this class. The Orientation/Training will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Knights of Columbus in Dickinson, TX, located at 4132 27th St., Dickinson, TX 77539 (see map below). The Orientation/Training will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The instructors will be Eddie and Nova Arguijo, Ron Overman, Carolyn Keane and Jack Boggess. The afternoon portion will be a field exercise, so please wear appropriate search clothing and shoes. If you are going to be an ATV searcher, please do not bring it to training — you will be shown fundamentals only at training. We encourage everyone to bring a sack lunch so no one is late for the field training, which is also required. There are plenty of fast food restaurants in the immediate area if you prefer, but you must be on time to the field exercise, which we will be doing at the Texas EquuSearch office — located just down the street from the Knights of Columbus Hall.
If you plan to attend the Orientation/Training, please register by contacting Sherry McKinney at sherry.mckinney@txeq.org. This class is for Texas EquuSearch Members only, but if you are not a member, you can join now. Additionally, you can bring your completed Membership Application, along with your annual dues in the amount of $25.00 to the training. You will still need to register with our office, either by email to Sherry or calling the office. Please let her know if you are going to join and bring your Application with you to the training. We encourage anyone who is interested in joining, please download the Membership Application off of our website. Alternatively, if you have any questions about our organization, please call our office at (281) 309-9500 and Sherry will answer any questions you may have, and email the Membership Application to you.

05/15/13 — Wanza Tyrone King, age 55, is missing from Houston, TX. It is unclear the date and location he was last seen. It is not known what he was last seen wearing. If you have any information, please call the Houston Police Department at (713) 731-5223 or Texas EquuSearch at (281) 309-9500.

Missing: Alexandria “Ali” Lowitzer, 16 Yrs., Spring, TX, 04/26/10

05/15/13 — (Updated information) — Alexandria (Ali), age 16, was last seen on Monday, April 26, 2010 around 3:00 p.m. near Low Ridge Rd. & Treaschwig in Spring, TX. Ali was last seen wearing a black hoodie, white shirt, black & white checkered skinny jeans, and all black tennis shoes (skater style), she was carrying a blue slider cell phone, black square framed glasses (shown in bottom picture) and a checkered multi-colored backpack. Ali wears braces (with pink bands) and her ears are pierced. The photos show what she had with her at the time she went missing, and the middle photo is her hair color at the time she went missing. Although many searches have been done for Ali, we are continuing to actively search for her.
02/11/12 — We will be resuming our search for Ali Lowitzer on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The Command Center will be at the Subway parking lot, located at 5747 Treaschwig Rd., Spring, TX 77373. We need all available ATVs and foot searchers. Your Search Coordinator will be Beverly Ramos, and she can be reached at (713) 498-9379. Please bring your own water and snacks, and dress appropriately for the cold weather. Thank you so much.

05/12/13 — Omar Linares has been found safe. We would like to thank all of our volunteers who interrupted their Mother’s Day holiday to assist in this search.
05/12/13 — Attention all volunteers, we have an immediate need for all atv & foot searchers. We are looking for a 24 yr. old male, Omar Linares. We will be meeting at 9026 Cheswick in Houston, Texas 77037. The search will begin at 10:30 a.m., and your search coordinator is Frank Black, who can be reached at 713-301-6813. We realize that today is Mother’s Day, but we would appreciate your help in bringing Omar back to his mother. Thank you for all you do.
05/12/13 — Omar Linares, age 24, was last seen on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Houston, TX. He was last seen at his home in the 9000 block of Cheswick Dr. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a plaid shirt and blue and khaki shoes. He has a nose piercing and a scar on his stomach from a surgery. He has medical issues and is in serious need of medications.
