COLD CASE: Jeffrey Mays, Cape Hatteras, North Carolina (11/13/1980)

21 year-old Jeffrey Mays and Ted Wall were last seen on November 13th 1980 in the offshore waters of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. They were aboard Jeffrey’s 23 foot “Sea Ox”, which is claimed to be unsinkable. The U S Coast Guard searched 211,000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, but the boat, nor the boys were ever located. It is believed that Jeffrey Mays did not perish in the treacherous waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and that he is still alive.
