It is with heavy hearts that we pass along the news of the passing of our long time friend and supporter, Sidney Kelton – Mean Gene Kelton. Gene has supported Texas EquuSearch for many years with his musical talents and warm and giving heart. Gene generously played at so many fundraisers and was a delight to be around.
Gene was involved in a tragic vehicle accident last night in Crosby and did not survive. Our deepest condolences are with his children and his dear wife, Joni, whom is also a close friend and supporter.
Gene is a Texas bluesrocker legend and will be sorely missed. Please say a prayer for his family.
