FOUND DECEASED: Becky Hamilton, 52 Yrs., Huffman, TX

01/13/10 –The body of Becky Hamilton has been positively identified, but funeral arrangements are still pending. The family wants to express their heartfelt thank you to each and every person responsible for locating their sister.

We would like to recognize all of our local members, Dennis and Tammy Watters — our sonar team, Gene Robinson and RP Flight Systems — our drone airplane team, five members of our Florida Chapter who drove 17 hours straight through in order to search for a member’s sister, Harris County Sheriff’s Department, Huffman Volunteer Fire Department, Humble Police Department, Paster Mike Martin and Deacon Grubbs, the First Baptist Church of Huffman for providing us a Command Center, Humble Civic Arena for providing us a Command Center, Doug Gray of SFI-Gray Steel for providing and flying the R-44 helicopter with one of our members, Huffman Independent School District Board of Trustees, and the many vendors who provided us with food, ice and water. If we failed to mention anyone, please accept our apologies.

01/08/10 — We are very sad to report that the remains of a body, believed to be that of Becky Hamilton, have been discovered by members of Texas EquuSearch. Please keep Becky’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of grief. Funeral arrangements will be made once a positive identification has been made. We would like to give special thanks to everyone involved in the search for Becky, and for bringing this family closure.

01/03/10 — Becky Hamilton, age 52, was last seen on Friday, January 1, 2010, at around 1:20 a.m. in the vicinity of 2100 in Huffman, TX.  It is not known what Becky was last seen wearing.

Urgent need for searchers — the sister of one of our members is missing, and we need all available searchers tomorrow, Monday, January 4, 2010, to begin a search at 8:30 a.m. The Command Center will be located at The First Baptist Church of Huffman, 25503 FM 2100, Huffman, Texas 77336.
