My nephew is still missing and believed to be at the bottom of the ocean with the rigging equipment. We have not been able to get any additional assistance from the State of Maine, State Senator Rep. Olympia Snowe was quoted in a recent article as wanting to assist us with additional equipment such as a manomter with the Coast Guard nearly a month ago but to no avail.
Now my brother Roger Preston has purchased a new boat from Nova Scotia. It should have been delivered before June 1, 2009 so he can drive the owner across the Canadian and Maine boarder.
I am so worried and have written every major television station to assist with additional equipment and to tell our story. No response. Now I must accept that my brother will begin dragging the ocean for his son’s body. I am saddened that this will be his last vision of my nephew Logan Preston. I am horrified at that thought and deeply saddened.
Equusearch and the Maine Marine Patrol are the only ones that have gone out of their way to assist with the recovery. I want to thank them both.
