LOCATED SAFE: Dennis Shippey, 63 Yrs., Pasadena, Texas, 02/05/09

02/07/09 – Texas EquuSearch is pleased to announce that Dennis Shippey was located alive this morning.  He has been transported to a medical facility for treatment.  Please continue to keep Dennis and his family in your prayers.  Thank you to law enforcement, the dedicated community volunteers and TES members for assisting in the search for Dennis.

02/06/09 – Dennis Shippey, age 63, was last seen on February 5, 2009, in Pasadena, Texas.  He was walking his dog, a black and white collie named “Lucky”, in the Strawberry Park area. Lucky is on a blue leash.    He was last seen wearing a light blue short sleeve tshirt with the word “Alcatraz” in large black letters, Dickey jeans, dark blue NFL Texans’ team hat and glasses that turn dark in daylight.

Mr. Shippey is an Alzheimer’s patient and has missed several doses of his medication.  He is extremely disoriented.  Please call if you have any information.

The search for Dennis Shippey will continue on Saturday, February 7, in Pasadena, TX.  The command center is located at Strawberry Park, 1107 Parkside Dr, Pasadena, TX.  The search begins at 8:00 a.m., and TES is in need of volunteers for foot searches and on ATV’s.  Volunteers must be 18 years old, and show proof of identity at the time of registration.
